Abiola Odetola is a leading voice in youth policy empowerment, governance, and public administration, with extensive experience in designing policies that drive youth-led transformation. As Special Assistant on Strategy and Policy Development at the National Sports Commission, he has pioneered frameworks integrating youth participation, economic inclusion, and sports as a tool for leadership development. His work focuses on overcoming institutional and bureaucratic barriers that hinder effective youth policy implementation.

Previously, as Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State on Youth Development, Abiola led strategic interventions such as the Ogun Job Portal, Job Centers, and Ogun Employability Skills Development Programme, impacting thousands of young people through skills training, policy innovation, and entrepreneurship development. His expertise in policy design, stakeholder engagement, and governance reform has positioned him as a key player in Africa’s youth-driven future.

With a Master’s in International Law and Diplomacy (UNILAG) and a Bachelor’s in Economics (OOU), Abiola remains committed to shaping resilient and dynamic policies that empower Africa’s next generation. He has collaborated with global institutions such as ILO, UNDP, and GIZ to advance inclusive governance and sustainable youth policies.
