About Mojisola Fasola.

Moji has over 15 years experience advising investment managers and start-ups across North America, Europe, and Africa on private fund formation, fund structuring and marketing, transaction advisory, regulatory compliance, ESG, and impact.

Moji’s expertise includes negotiating complex legal documents such as limited partnership agreements and preparing private placement memoranda for private equity funds and businesses. She routinely engages with the U.S. and Nigeria Securities and Exchange Commission, the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius, and other regulators on investment managers and funds licensing and compliance obligations.

Her work in ESG and impact involves collaborating with development finance institutions to drive ESG and impact reforms, guiding investment managers in developing their environmental and social management systems and impact management and measurement frameworks, and integrating ESG into the investment process. Moji is a member of the investment committee of a leading private equity fund and serves on the Board and Advisory Committee of companies. 

Moji holds a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School and a business certificate from Harvard Business School. She is a dual licensed Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria and an Attorney in New York State. She is also a member of the Chartered Governance Institute, UK and routinely serves on the Selection Committee of the Community Solutions Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
